Robert Hetsler is a former Florida Supreme Court Certified Family and County Mediator.  He is a practicing mediator with multiple offices throughout Florida.  He has been practicing as a mediator for many years and his practice is thriving.  He pioneered the field for pro-se mediation in Jacksonville, Florida and, at the time of writing this handbook, had mediated over 2500 cases.  

Robert has an Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Post Graduate studies in Accounting and Tax and has a Doctorate Degree in Jurisprudence.  He has always been fascinated with business and marketing and has spent years developing techniques in his own mediation practice that have made him one of the most successful divorce mediators in the jurisdictions to which he practices.

Robert possesses a significant amount of business and marketing experience throughout many different industries.  He has owned and operated businesses such as, self service carwashes, self storage facilities, a playground equipment company,  and an accounting practice  as well as currently runs multiple nationwide marketing campaigns for "niche market" divorce services.  In each of these businesses, he was the individual responsible for developing and implementing the marketing and advertising strategies.

Further,  Robert has testified and been qualified as an expert witness in personal injury cases, commercial litigation and divorce cases involving valuing marital business, lifestyle analysis (alimony cases), and in determining actual income of self-employed individuals throughout Florida and Georgia.  He has also been retained to provide Pension Valuations in divorce cases as well as has been appointed as a neutral business valuator in litigation cases.  Robert’s skills are diverse because, in addition to having a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence, he is also a Licensed Certified Public Accountant as well as a Nationally Certified Business Appraiser, Certified in Financial Forensics by the AICPA and Forensic CPA ("FCPA") certified by the Forensic CPA Society.  Finally, Robert is an active member of  the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts,  the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Valuation & Litigation Section), American College of Forensic Examiners, Forensic CPA Society, and the Association for Conflict Resolution.
